Blackberries
We have planted our first plantation in spring of 2004. in Petrijevci mount area called Kapleica in beautiful landscape very near the rivers Karašica and Drava, there is also oak wood very near. On cca 7300 m2 we have planted 2000 bushes of blackberry.
- In the year 2004 we are registered in register of agricultural market
- In the year 2006 we are registered in register of producers of grapes, wines and fruit wines
- In the year 2006 we are registered in register of ecological production of agricultural and nutrition products with the right of production, refinement and trading of ecological products
- In the year 2006 we produced first 600 litres of BLACKBERRY WINE, dessert fruit wine
- In the year 2007 we got resolution from Croatian Institute of Viniculture by which we can trade and market our BLACKBERRY WINE from 2006 vintage
In ecological production of blackberries we work according to Regulations of Ecological Production and recommendations of the profession, and in the production of wine we have contracted experienced enologist.
WE ARE IN THE VAT SYSTEM, AND WE ALSO PAY EXTRA TAX FOR PRODUCTION OF ALCOHOL, AND ACCORDING TO LAW WE DELIVER SPECIAL REPORTS TO THE OVERSEEING INSTITUTIONS.
OUR PRODUCTION MOTO IS: "QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY".
In this blackberry program we have included our whole family, and our first blackberry wine presentation was thru involvement in action "Buy Croatian - Be Croactive" in organisation of HGK, this happened on:
- Square of Ante Starčević in Osijek on May, 12th 2007 and
- Square of Josip Ban Jelačić in Zagreb on June, 30th 2007
